Collection: Mini Landscapes

A series of original mini watercolour and gouache landscapes, depicting scenery from around New Zealand.

This series began as a concept to paint a handful of small scale paintings, to assist planning a larger, more detailed series of landscapes. 

After reaching out to a local Facebook group (Explore New Zealand) and asking photographers if they would be happy to donate some images as references, I was so impressed by the gorgeous images they offered, and continued to paint until 32 pieces were created. 

The series heavily features Mount Tarakani, along with many well loved beaches, lakes and mountain ranges.
